When selecting your shade, measure the depth of your window frame for an inside mount, ensuring the shade width is 1/2 inch or 1 inch less than the window width, and the shade height exceeds the window height. For an outside mount, the shade width should be 4 inches wider than the window width, and the height should be 4 inches taller.
